Amex Ending Etihad Transfer Partnership — Last Day to Transfer is June 29
Amex Membership Rewards will no longer transfer to Etihad Guest after June 30, 2026. The last day to make a transfer is June 29. If you have been sitting on MR points earmarked for an Etihad redemption, the clock is running.
Etihad Guest has some genuinely solid sweet spots — cheap American Airlines short-haul flights, JetBlue Mint to the Caribbean, and Etihad own-metal business class. If you have a specific redemption in mind, transfer and book before June 29. Important caveat: Etihad has one of the worst cancellation policies in the industry — you can lose up to 75% of miles if plans change. Bilt, Capital One, and Citi still transfer to Etihad at 1:1 with no announced end date.
